APRIL 2008 The Annual Ed Ross Memorial and Benefit Concert is happening at Conway's (2127 W Wells in Milwaukee) on Sunday April 6th 2008 with a daylong extravaganza featuring a host of Milwaukee musicians, all of whom were among Ed's favorites. The music starts at 1pm. Conway's has great food and is a cool place to enjoy live music with lots of room, plus it's all for a good cause! Proceeds from the door and a silent auction will be donated to the American Diabetes Foundation.
MARCH 2008 Jude returns to Berres Brothers on March 14th for another solo show. On Thursday, the 20th of March, FRED and ETHEL are part of the all star line-up performing for the Peace Action Wisconsin Benefit Concert at Linneman's. Wednesday March 26th Jude is back solo at the Beautiful Day Cafe...in search of the lost note or something like that.

JANUARY 2008 FRED and ETHEL perform at a Tribute to Neil Young - Food Pantry Benefit at the 19th Street Coffeehouse January 4th at 8pm. FRED and ETHEL will perform for this worthy cause along with SANDY WEISTO, THE MOXIE CHICKS and DON SCHIEWER.
The Dynamic Duo returns to the Allegro Martini Bar on January 18th.
Jude is going strong with her solo shows. Next up for Jude is the Elm Grove Perk and Pub on January 19th at 8pm. Great atmosphere, delicious food or come in for cocktails. Warm, cozy and smoke-free.

SEPTEMBER 2007 FRED and ETHEL's twins from a paralle dimension, T.LEE the painter, and Jude Kinnear acoustic rock chick, will be on hand at Joyce Parker Productions in an intimate theatre setting on Saturday, September 29th at 3pm. Jude is performing and Tom will display his recent oil paintings. There is no cover charge - only a free will donation. Beer, wine and soda are available for purchase.
AUGUST 2007 FRED and ETHEL perform at the WISCONSIN STATE FAIR on Saturday August 4th and Thursday August 9th. Show time is 3pm. The concept of FRED and ETHEL was born at the fair...so needless to say this is a very special gig for the dynamic duo...you won't want to miss it!
JUDE continues her solo tour with a debut at the Allegro Martini Bar in Thiensville at 7pm on Saturday August 11th.
JULY 2007 FRED and ETHEL return to CONWAY's on Friday July 20th. The acoustic happy hour runs from 6-8pm. Great place, tasty food, a nice casual way to start your Friday night.

MAY 2007 Jude flies solo at It's A Beautiful Day Cafe on Wednesday May 30th. Jude entertains the patrons with a variety of obscure and favorite covers, as well as her own songs, on guitar and mandolin in this intimate, casual, smoke-free and listener oriented venue. Jude’s debut with The Silvertones is on the evening of May 12th at John Hawks Pub in downtown Milwaukee. Having played the Wisconsin club and festival scene for over fifteen years, Jude brings her soulful voice and on-stage chemistry to the Silvertones. APRIL 2007 FRED and ETHEL are fresh out of the studio with the makings of a new CD. The ten song project was recorded by Vinny Millevolte at the Exchange Recording Complex in Milwaukee. The disc is currently in production and will be released at a later date.
What's it like? Pure, simple, honest to goodness FRED and ETHEL just the way it was always meant to be. Eight new songs plus the original version of Souls on the Street and the unabridged version of Damn the Poachers.
Now you know there is gonna have to be a party, a really BIG one to celebrate three lustrum of the harmonically inclined duo and their new record. Keep an eye out....
JUDE has landed a band gig harmonizing and shaking that famous tambourine with The Silvertones. This kick ass band is dedicated to twang; non-bar band material and off the beaten track guitar-based gems. The Midwest's newest purveyors of hippie country and rootsy folk rock are known for their sweet harmonies, chiming 12 string guitars, lapsteels and clean electrics. Get out your dancing shoes cause the Silvertones are rockin' in the free world.
Welcoming Jude to the band are Minneapolis transplant Barry Wightman (vocals, guitars, mandolin), Milwaukee veterans Rick Walters (lead vocals, guitars), Mark Peterson (vocals, drums), guitarist Giles Colahan and bassist David Partrick.

March 2007 I'll be your server. The website was down over the past weekend due to some server issues (it needed cheesecake or something). But now everything is back. If you were caused any inconvenience by this event...have some cheesecake.
February 2007 Jude is back from performing at the Wise Women Conference. The annual event was held at a beautiful resort and spa in the sunny desert of Palm Springs California.
After the conference Jude stayed at the resort and treated herself to a few extra days of being a rock star. The itinerary; sight-seeing, shopping, a manicure, massage, In and Out Burger, more shopping, swimming in the warm mineral water pool, sipping white zinfandel poolside, basking in the sun on gloriously balmy 80 degree days, filet mignon .... Ah, yes a woman could get mighty use to that kind of life.
Meanwhile back in that booming metropolis known as Milwaukee, Tom was enduring 30 below zero temperatures - was that with or without the wind chill? Awww.... Now you know why they called it a Wise Women Conference!
